01 / The problem

What needed
to change.

More content does not always make the next step clearer. People joining a health and fitness platform need a useful starting point and a way to find the programmes, lessons and resources relevant to them.

Why we built it

DreamBodyClub brings the content and the member journey together. The aim is to make a large body of knowledge easier to navigate and use in everyday life.

02 / The work

From the question
to the working product.

01

Find a starting point

Connect an assessment journey with a member’s results and the content available to them.

02

Bring the resources together

Organise workouts, recipes, education and programmes within a consistent member experience.

03

Build beyond the original platform

Develop dedicated member and content-management surfaces, including video, lesson libraries and access-controlled resources.

03 / The system

A connected journey from first visit to everyday use.

DreamBodyClub brings the public website, onboarding, member experience and content operation into one platform architecture. Each part has a different job, while sharing the same customer journey.

  1. 01

    Discover

A public site and educational content introduce the programme.

  2. 02

    Find a starting point

An assessment connects member information with a more relevant experience.

  3. 03

    Use the platform

A member portal brings together workouts, recipes, learning and profile information.

  4. 04

    Keep it useful

Editorial tools organise and maintain the content behind the member experience.

Astro and Cloudflare support the public and member surfaces, with structured content, access controls and video delivery. The assessment supports personalisation; it is not a clinical diagnostic service.

04 / Research & development

Making the platform easier to use and easier to evolve.

01

How do you help people navigate a large content library?

The approach

Structure workouts, recipes and education around usable categories, tags and member journeys. Connect assessment information to the experience rather than leaving it in a separate form.

What informs the next step

The value of a library depends on how easily a person can find a useful next step. Content structure and interaction design have to develop together.

02

How do you move beyond the original platform without losing the experience?

The approach

Develop dedicated public, member and editorial surfaces. Migrate content and media in stages, checking rendered pages and access behaviour as the platform changes.

What informs the next step

Migration needs more than a successful data transfer. Content fidelity, navigation, media and permissions all affect whether the product still works for its members.

03

How does the team maintain what members see?

The approach

Build content editors and review tools alongside the member-facing pages, with structured fields and a shared understanding of how content is displayed.

What informs the next step

A product becomes difficult to improve when its everyday administration is an afterthought. The operator’s experience is part of the product design.

05 / Where it stands

Built, learned.
Still moving forward.

DreamBodyClub is a live operating product. It gives our team direct experience of the relationship between content, subscription experiences, onboarding and the systems used to maintain them.

As a Group-operated consumer product, DreamBodyClub gives us direct experience of supporting a platform after launch. Its continuing development connects content, customer journeys and the systems that keep them working.

What comes next

Continued work focuses on clearer journeys and a more connected platform. Personalisation is a product experience; it is not a claim of clinical diagnosis or a guaranteed health outcome.
