Sovereignty is operational
Meaningful control includes knowing where data moves, which vendors can process it, how credentials are separated and whether the organisation can continue when one service changes. A regional hosting label alone cannot answer those questions.
Design for substitution
Model and tool providers will evolve. Keeping context, permissions and outcome evidence in organisation-owned systems reduces dependency on any one interface and makes controlled substitution possible.
Resilience needs rehearsal
Backups and fallbacks only become credible when restoration, human takeover and degraded operation are tested. Agentic systems should fail visibly and preserve enough state for a person to continue safely.
